Southeast Career Pathways supports scholars in reaching their graduation goals.
As an alternative high school, Southeast prides itself on having small class sizes and great staff-to-student relationships. Classes at Southeast are nine weeks long. This helps scholars complete credit recovery at a faster rate, giving scholars the option to graduate and receive their diploma from their base high school. Southeast also works with community partners and Grand Rapids Community College (GRCC) to provide opportunities to GRPS scholars within the community. We want our scholars to not only finish high school, but be prepared to excel in the real world after theygraduate!
We have incorporated distance learning for years and are poised to be a leader in the district as a blended model of new technologies and old practices, giving our students the best of both worlds. Our 1-to-1 student technology device approach ensures that every student has the opportunity to learn inside and outside the classroom.
