Nickelodeon is an American television network owned by Paramount Global since 1985, formerly Viacom. But what if Disney (the rival of Cartoon Network owner Warner Bros. that acquired the rights of Doug from the channel and aired The Fairly OddParents on a few Disney Channels internationally) acquired it instead?

Changes[]
General[]
- Disney's former CEO Michael Eisner bought 31% of MTV Networks from Warner Communications on August 27th, 1985, and then 69% on May 20th, 1986, being merged and folded into Walt Disney Telecommunications (later Disney Media Networks).
- Nickelodeon has been discontinued in favor of Toon Disney on April 18th, 1998 after the major successes and highest reruns of Doug, Rugrats, Ren & Stimpy, Rocko's Modern Life and Aaahh!!! Real Monsters, moving its live-action programming to Disney Channel.
- In 1999, Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards would be replaced with The Disney Awards.
- The awards would let everyone vote on their favorite movies or shows, and many of Disney's animated characters would appear. Each awards show would have a different theme.
- The Nickelodeon Blimps would be replaced with Mouse Ear Castles.
- To avoid media winning multiple times, The Disney Awards wouldn't allow media to win more than once to give it a sense of surprise. The Disney Awards would be a lot more timeless than the Kids Choice Awards and would appeal to a broader audience.
- MTV wouldn't air any reality content as they wanted to focus exclusively on music content while its and VH-1's non-music programming would move to Paramount's own networks, not being involved in any movies MTV has produced.
- Three months after the merger between Disney and ABC, MTV and VH-1 were merged and relaunched as ABC Hits.
- Beavis and Butt-Head, Celebrity Deathmatch and Daria would air on Comedy Central instead, getting new seasons and episodes.
- Nickelodeon Studios would move from Universal Studios Florida to Disney-MGM Studios (later Disney's Hollywood Studios) while the original attraction at USF before Blue Man Group Theatre was instead known as Soundstage 18.
- In 1998, Nickelodeon Studios would be renamed to Disney TV Studios.
- Nickelodeon Animation Studios would be two satellite studios for Disney Television Animation instead, labeled as Disney Television Animation Burbank and Disney Television Animation New York (both formerly known as Walt Disney Television Animation Burbank and Walt Disney Television Animation New York) while the former Los Angeles facility was Walt Disney Television Animation Los Angeles.
- Disney's Doug seasons were heavily altered and retooled into a 13-episode fifth season aired in 1994 to keep the same charm and art style from the first four seasons as a way to end the show on a much higher note.
- Doug's 1st Movie wouldn't happen.
- Rugrats came to an end after the sixth season and the second movie, with 2001's All Growed Up being a proper finale.
- In the episode In the Dreamtime, Tommy and his father Stu's silly clown faces and different voices are replaced with Goofy's and Donald Duck's heads and voices as a way to tone down disturbing scenes heavily, with Bill Farmer and Tony Anselmo reprising their roles.
- Speaking of Goofy and Donald, their designs are way more identical to Walt Disney's artwork due to the Rugrats crew searching them up.
- After Christine Cavalaugh's retirement in 2001, Candi Milo took over the role as Chuckie in some Disney media instead of Nancy Cartwright.
- Sexual abuse allegations around John Kricfalusi actually happened in 1992, and he was fired and arrested from ever making cartoons, sentenced to 50 years of prison in which leads a permanent closure of Spümcø, with Disney and Nick appointing Chris Reccardi and Lynne Naylor as showrunners of Ren and Stimpy and Mike Kazaleh as character designer in order to remove all references and mentions to him on the series to avoid potential judicial problems, designing Ren to be less of his author avatar as the new showrunners toned down his jerk and sociopath traits in order to make him more sympathetic at times.
- WhirlGirl is the first cartoon produced exclusively for the Internet instead.
- The network and the crew also ordered journalists and critics to avoid mentioning his name when talking about the show due to his acts still bringing some trauma to the ones who were victims of his abuse but wanted the show to still feature grossout while still suitable for the network.
- However, George Liquor is often used to symbolize the abuses done by its creator towards its staff during its original run.
- The Ren and Stimpy short to The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water (It's Our House Now!) will be produced and released in 2015, but made instead by Naylor and Reccardi.
- The titular characters and Powdered Toast Man are instead voiced by Carlos Alazraqui in his Taco Bell impression, Eric Bauza and Nolan North while Tom Kenny and Billy West will reprise their roles as SpongeBob and Sven.
- These seasons were well-received and praised by critics and audiences.
- Disney's plan for the 1993 Mario film would still be developed but they learned their mistakes in order to rewrite the film and make it fully animated by Walt Disney Feature Animation with a different plot that is more faithful to the games much like how they did to Toy Story because of the infamous Black Friday reel, convincing Nintendo to be heavily involved co-producing the film.
- Although Nintendo is not outright owned by Disney, the two companies have shared a close partnership since the release of the film in 1993, the success of which convinced Nintendo to lend their IPs to Disney to be adapted into numerous mediums. That means the Walt Disney Company would have started efforts to market Nintendo and their franchises, led of course by the Super Mario franchise, in the Disney theme parks.
- In 2002, Nintendo acquires WayFoward and Rare Limited.
- Nickelodeon wouldn't buy Paws, Inc. and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles at all.
- They'd instead be sold to Warner Bros.
- The 2014-2016 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles films would be produced by the DCEU.
- Animated series based on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles would air on Cartoon Network instead.
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem and The Garfield Movie would've been produced by Warner Animation Group.
- Warner Bros. would have lots of care for Garfield and U.S Acres and would give more attention to the two franchises.
- The Garfield website was not shut down but was instead updated.
- They'd instead be sold to Warner Bros.
- Nickelodeon wouldn't buy Rainbow SPA at all.
- News Corporation would buy Rainbow SPA in 2011 instead, resulting on Winx Club being dubbed by 4Kids.
- Rabbids Invasion would air on Cartoon Network instead.
- The fourth season of Rabbids Invasion would've premiered on Cartoon Network from September 1st to December 26th, 2018, before airing on Boomerang since July 2019 and streaming on HBOMax since March 4th, 2021 in the United States instead of Netflix while Rabbids Invasion: Mission to Mars premiered on HBOMax on September 10th, 2021 in the US as an original film instead, just like the first three seasons.
- After the success of Rabbids Invasion, Ubisoft began to partner up with Warner Bros. to make Warner Bros./Rabbids crossover games, much like they did with Nintendo for Mario, as well as collaborate to make games with some of their other major IPs like Rayman and Just Dance.
- Time Warner would've bought Bagdasarian Productions in 2009, since Ruby-Spears produced the 1983 Alvin and the Chipmunks series.
- Chipwrecked and The Road Chip wouldn't exist.
- ALVINNN!!! and the Chipmunks (co-produced by Warner Bros. Animation) would be traditionally-animated by Rough Draft Studios instead of CGI by Technicolor Animation Productions, and it would have several changes to make it better. For example: the designs are more faithful to the 1983 artwork, the characters keep the same personalities they had in the 1983 show, the show only lasts for four seasons and it would air on Cartoon Network.
- The Smurfs (2021) instead airs on Cartoon Network.
- Peppa Pig would air on PBS Kids instead.
- Sony Pictures would've acquired the distribution rights to Paw Patrol instead.
- The Paw Patrol films are produced by Sony Pictures Animation instead.
- 101 Dalmatian Street would've been renewed for more seasons.
- Wayside (which is co-produced by Walt Disney Television Animation) is more faithful to the books.
- Klasky Csupo wouldn't likely be involved in Aaahh!!! Real Monsters, The Wild Thornberries, The Wacky Adventures of Ronald McDonald, Rocket Power and As Told by Ginger.
- Aaahh!!! Real Monsters would be a co-production between Stretch Films and Walt Disney Television Animation, being created by John R. Dilworth instead.
- Rocket Power was created by Genndy Tartakovsky for Walt Disney Television Animation, heavily toning down Otto's rude and self-centered personality and making the show not pandering nor have a lot of cliches, especially the "Jealousy" cliche. Due to that, the art style would look like either this or this, or maybe both as a mix.
- As Told by Ginger is a co-production between Nelvana and Walt Disney Television Animation, giving the characters' look to be designed by the creator of Braceface.
- The Wild Thornberries would be animated by TMS Entertainment for Walt Disney Television Animation, and the characters' appearances would be redesign into the most decent and beautiful anime-like look.
- Darwin and Donnie are redesigned to be inspired by Sanrio characters with faces inspired by Pikachu.
- The Wacky Adventures of Ronald McDonald would've been produced by DiC Entertainment (like how they've done with McTreasure Island back in 1990) instead as the designs of the characters will look classic 1980s look like in the 1990 video short while also redesigning the new ones in the series.
- While The Rugrats Movie and in Paris both stay exactly the same, the face of the woman flight attendant gets redesigned to be inspired by the Squeaky Chicken Girl from the show's debut episode while the wolf was also redesigned to look beautifully Disney/Glen Keane-like.
- KaBlam!, The Angry Beavers, Hey Arnold!, CatDog, the fifth and final Rugrats season, The Wild Thornberries, Rocket Power, As Told by Ginger and Action League Now! would air on Disney's One Saturday Morning on ABC.
- Chowder airs on Disney Channel rather than Cartoon Network due to C.H. Greenblatt being co-showrunner of SpongeBob SquarePants, being produced by Walt Disney Television Animation instead of Cartoon Network Studios while the animation still provided by Hong Ying Animation.
- Bubbles’ head will be replaced with Mickey Mouse’s head.
- The third season would would last for an additional eleven episodes.
- Pucca will be co-produced by Walt Disney Television Animation under Jetix Animation Concepts.
- The Fairly OddParents would end in 2006 with Channel Chasers (which premiered on July 21st, 2006 while Fairly Idol, Timmy the Barbarian! / No Substitute for Crazy! and The Jerkinators were on July 23rd and May 7th, 2004 as part of season 4 and May 19th, 2006). Butch Hartman opted to make T.U.F.F. Puppy as his one more cartoon before leaving Disney in 2015 in order to retire from animation career.
- Billionfold, Inc. wouldn't exist as Danny Phantom and T.U.F.F. Puppy were fully produced by Walt Disney Television Animation.
- The third season of Danny Phantom would be rewritten in order to keep Steve Marmel on board and avoid its negative reception with a total of 20 episodes due to Disney not firing many of the original writers from the first two seasons, running from June 17th, 2006 to February 10th, 2007 with a fourth and final season being produced in 2007 and finish in 2008 from March 17th to January 25th, ending with a final battle between Danny and Dark Danny.
- The 2015 episodes of T.U.F.F. Puppy would've premiered in February 14th-March 28th, 2014 before T.U.F.F. Break Up and Til Doom Do Us Part on November 24th, 2013.
- As a result, his controversial actions (including the OAXIS scandal) and his written works along with Bunsen Is a Beast, The Fairly Odd Phantom, HobbyKids Adventures, the failed Noog Network service, The Garden, Fairly Odder and A New Wish would've never happened since his retirement.
- Several shows that got screwed by Nickelodeon and Disney received significantly better treatment by Disney Channel and Jetix. Some of these shows include Catscratch, 101 Dalmatians Street, Invader Zim, Making Fiends, Harvey Beaks, Welcome to the Wayne, It's Pony, Glitch Techs, ChalkZone, Hailey's On It, The Ghost and Molly McGee, The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go! and My Life as a Teenage Robot, among many others.
- Phoebe and Her Unicorn got picked up, and began airing in 2023. Other well-received Nick pilots that weren't picked up, such as The Modifyers and Constant Payne were picked up as well, with IMP, Inc. and Meddlen Meadows also picked up as assets for The Modifyers.
- All the bad Disney and Nick shows made to imitate SpongeBob and the live-action Kim Possible movie don't exist while Adventure Time would still be greenlit by Cartoon Network instead.
- Quack Pack and Shorty McShorts' Shorts wouldn't happen either.
- The Buzz on Maggie is different to make Maggie a lot more likable.
- The Ben 10 franchise, Generator Rex and The Secret Saturdays would air on Jetix instead of Cartoon Network.
- The 2016 Ben 10 reboot and a cancelled live-action series would never happen.
- They are produced by Jetix Animation Concepts instead of Cartoon Network Studios and PorchLight Entertainment.
- The Secret Saturdays concludes in 2013.
- Barnyard would be distributed by Columbia Pictures instead while its show Back at the Barnyard airs instead on Discovery Kids.
- The Loud House didn't become a series, as Disney Channel was able to unearth evidence of Chris Savino's history of sexual harassment right before it could be greenlit. Because of this, none of its spin-offs exist. And neither does Primos.
- Disney would have acquired the international rights to Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir earlier on.
- Ladybug & Cat Noir: The Movie was internationally distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures under the Walt Disney Pictures banner. In the English dub, Cristina Vee and Bryce Papenbrook would also provide the singing parts for Marinette/Ladybug and Adrien/Cat Noir while Benjamin Diskin would reprise his role as Nooroo.
- Due to that, ZagHeroez would form a partnership with Disney to air their shows on Disney Channel.
- Tales of Fairyon, Pixie Girl, Miss Rose, Gayajin, Moonlight Hunters and Kosmik Wrestle: Space League were all picked up.
- Universal's Br'er Rabbit movie wouldn't exist as Disney would've re-released Song of the South on videos, DVDs and Blu-rays in 1996 for its 50th anniversary, 2006 for its 60th anniversary, 2011 for its 65th anniversary, 2016 for its 70th anniversary, and 2021 for its 75th anniversary in order to give the film a lot more attention.
- The film would've also been available on Disney+.
- Once the Disney Vault has been demolished, Song of the South and Make Mine Music would have gotten out of the vault as well.
- Due to their strong ties, Disney acquired Studio Ghibli in 2006, the same year they acquired Pixar, as a way to build up the Disney Animation Industry.
- Studio Chizu and Studio Ponoc wouldn't exist with their projects being made by Studio Ghibli.
- The Studio Ghibli streaming content would be available on Disney+ instead of HBO Max (now known as Max).
- While still being distributed by Toho for Japan releases, their films will be internationally released by Walt Disney Pictures.
- Some of the Disney dubs got improved after the acquisition.
- Since Studio Ghibli is located in Japan, the Japan pavilion in Epcot, Disney’s California Adventure, and Tokyo Disneyland would receive a Studio Ghibli area called Ghibli: A World from Miyazaki. All would open between 2009 and 2013. The entire land would pay homage to Hayao Miyazaki.
- Hayao Miyazaki becomes the executive producer of Walt Disney Animation Studios films from Meet the Robinsons until Frozen II and short films from How to Hook Up Your Home Theater until Olaf's Frozen Adventure as well as Pixar films from Ratatouille until Incredibles 2 and short films from Lifted until Bao and Auntie Edna while John Lasseter served as the executive producer of Ghibli movies from Ponyo until Mirai and Modest Heroes and shorts from A Sumo Wrestler's Tail until Boro the Caterpillar.
- After Lasseter left the three animation studios in 2018, Miyazaki left Disney Animation and Pixar in order to focus on Ghibli films.
- Earwig and the Witch would be traditionally-animated instead of CGI, with its plotline being heavily altered.
- Toy Story 4&5 would not exist due to being mainly seen as useless sequels created for the sake of profit, especially when Toy Story 3 already served as the finale for the series.
- As a result, a sequel to Finding Dory would be made, being titled Finding Marlin.
- However, Lightyear would still happen and still feature Sox, although it was heavily tweaked as it takes a new plot and makes it an even better version of The Adventure Begins.
- Tim Allen would've reprised his role as Buzz Lightyear.
- The episode "Phineas and Ferb Gets Busted" wouldn't exist at all. However, the scene of Perry's Dream at the end of the episode would still exist, but with a different episode.
- Stitch! (which would be co-produced by Disney Television Animation for Disney Channel) was heavily altered to avoid its negative reception as it would be set during the events of Lilo and Stitch: The Series.
- Monster High (2022) and Transformers: EarthSpark are instead aired on Discovery Family.
- The second seasons of American Dragon: Jake Long and The Replacements would keep the original art styles the first seasons had, with the latter not having any continuity errors.
- Legend of the Three Caballeros would be produced for Disney Channel instead of DisneyLife.
- Where's My Water?: Swampy's Underground Adventures would've been co-produced by Disney Television Animation for Disney Channel.
- Disney XD wouldn't happen. Instead, a new channel called X-treme Disney was launched on February 1st, 2009, which would only air teen sitcoms and teen dramas from Disney. And after the series finales of both Wizards of Waverly Place and iCarly, Disney Channel opted to gradually axe up their live-action schedule as a way to focus exclusively on animated content and provide stronger competition to Cartoon Network.
- As a result, future live-action sitcoms and original movies after Wizards of Waverly Place, iCarly and Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure would be produced exclusively for X-treme Disney instead while Mr. Meaty, The Naked Brothers Band and the live-action Avatar series don't exist.
- The fourth season of Wizards of Waverly Place would be different as the show would stay a comedic, heartwarming, silly, lighthearted, and yet, charming sitcom.
- Justin would have appeared in The Wizards Return: Alex vs. Alex.
- Toon Disney and Jetix would have still operated due to this, except the latter was moved to Disney Channel on February 13th, 2009.
- The former would become a cartoon rerun network, serving as Disney's competitor to Boomerang.
- Schneider's Bakery wouldn't exist with Drake & Josh, the tenth All That season, Zoey 101, iCarly, Victorious and Sam & Cat being produced by It's a Laugh Productions.
- Dan Schneider was fired in 2013 following the infamous Sam & Cat "feet tweet". This results in Disney treating Jennette McCurdy fairly, who called 911 to arrest him, who was transferred to Bledsoe County Correctional Complex and sentenced to 37 years in prison.
- Despite that, five live-action shows Aaron Stone, Henry Danger and its spin-off Danger Force, The Thundermans and I Am Frankie still exist, yet as animated and without Dan Schneider's involvement.
- However, due to it, most of its characters would be voiced by voice actors instead.
- The Descendants (which would be more faithful to the Disney Animated Canon) and Z-O-M-B-I-E-S films would be heavily altered as they would be animated and they wouldn't be musicals to make them stand out from the High School Musical franchise.
- The only exceptions are Austin & Ally (although without the infamous love triangle), The Barbarian and the Troll, the All That and Are You Afraid of the Dark? revivals and the reruns of The Muppet Show.
- The Lion Guard would air on Disney Channel instead.
- Aside from Simba being voiced by Matthew Broderick rather than Rob Lowe, James Earl Jones voicing Mufasa throughout the series, Nathan Lane voicing Timon instead of Kevin Schon, Scar being voiced by Jeremy Irons, Simba and Kiara's personalities staying true to the movies, and the artstyle for the show resembling the first movie and The Lion King 1 1/2 (all due to the series boasting a much higher budget), the series otherwise remains the same.
- Freeform wouldn't exist due to ABC Family staying as a family channel while its programming targeted for teen and young adults will be moved to ABC instead.
- Henson Alternative's library, Marvel's adult shows, 20th Century Fox's adult animated series, and Touchstone's film and television library would air on ABC.

- Playhouse Disney wouldn't change its name to Disney Junior and would never air non-preschool shows.

- Their slogan "Imagine and Learn" would be continued to be used until 2018, when it changes to "Where the Magic Begins".
- Numberblocks would've been dubbed in the US on Playhouse Disney.
- In 2019, the Disney Junior bumpers from the UK (2019-2020) would replace the 2017 branding and Funny would be phased out.
- Captain Carlos, Happy Monster Band, Ooh and Ahh, and My Friends Tigger and Pooh would have newer episodes until 2018.
- Captain Carlos and The Happy Monster Band would turn into full length shows in 2013.
- My Friends Tigger and Pooh would also feature Owl and Gopher.
- Baby Einstein and Disney would reunite in 2014 leaving Kids II and continue distributing Little Einsteins episodes, along with revamping the cancelled Einstein Pals.
- The Playhouse Disney logo would be turned to 3D in 2012 until Disney Channel's rebranding in 2014 when their new logo matches the current Disney Channel logo.
- Toon Disney and X-treme Disney's logos will also match Disney Channel's 2014 logo instead of being original.
- Mickey Mouse Clubhouse had one more season in 2017 until 2018 when Roadster Racers premiered and Funhouse in 2022.
- All three aforementioned shows would feature additional Mickey Mouse universe characters, like Morty and Ferdie Fieldmouse, Felicity Fieldmouse, Scrooge McDuck, Huey, Duey, Louie, April, May, June, Max Goof, Roxanne, P.J, Bobby, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Ortensia, Fanny Cottontail, Gus Gremlin, Jose Carioca, Panchito Pistoles, Horace Horsecollar and Bonkers D. Bobcat, along with Figment.
- In 2013, another host named Funny (who is a character from Mickey Mouse Funhouse, just earlier) would be the new host as Ooh and Ahh would become a TV show. He was retired in 2017 in favor of the branding, although still returning in Mickey Mouse Funhouse.
- Blue's Clues and its two follow-ups Blue's Room and Blue's Clues & You, Dora the Explorer and its spin-off Go, Diego, Go!, Allegra's Window (since Disney owned Jumbo Pictures), The Backyardigans, Wonder Pets and Pinky Dinky Doo will be the only eleven Nick Jr. shows to be produced exclusively for Playhouse Disney while the rest are on PBS Kids instead.
- Cartoonito wouldn't likely happen as Warner Bros. partnered up with PBS for Krypto the Superdog, Batwheels, Bugs Bunny Builders and Tom and Jerry Time (which wouldn't be shelved) while original Cartoonito and Tickle-U programming (except The Mr. Men Show which would still air on Cartoon Network) along with Big Bag are produced for PBS Kids instead. However, Baby Looney Tunes wouldn't be included.
- With the only two exceptions of Dora and the Lost City of Gold and the live-action tween-oriented Dora series, newer Dora cash grabs like the last four seasons of the original series, the last two seasons of Go, Diego, Go!, Dora and Friends: Into the City and the 2024 CGI reboot would've never happened.
- Freddie the Fruit Bat Saves Halloween!, Egyptian Camel Adventure, A New Flamingo Mommy and The Bobo's Mother's Day! would air in 2008 from June 24 to 27 while The Great Polar Bear Rescue would've premiered on August 12th, 2008. - The Dora hatebase would never happen, ESPECIALLY her grounded videos.
- The 2024 Ariel show and the Backyardigans reboot don't exist.
- Season 2 of Blue's Room ("Blue's Farm Playdate" to "Music Stars") would be rewritten as season 1 episodes without Sprinkles, use the season 1 format, and would be produced and premiered from January to March 2006 before Meet Blue's Baby Brother.
- Bill Cosby's history of sexual harassment was made known to the public in 1996, and his prison sentence happened in the early 2000s. That means Little Bill and the 2004 Fat Albert movie wouldn't exist at all.
- While Playdate with Winnie the Pooh and Me & Winnie the Pooh still exist, they'd instead be done in traditional animation by Disney Television Animation rather than using CGI, with characters being adults instead of children and act more like their original Disney counterparts, with Pooh's smarter role and voice by Leon Chen being given to Christopher Robin instead.
- Due to that, Jim Cummings, Travis Oates, Tom Kenny, Peter Cullen, André Stojka and Kath Soucie would've reprised their roles as Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, Rabbit (who is male instead of female), Eeyore, Owl (who is brown instead of orange and Kanga while Tara Strong will voice Roo and Bea doesn't exist, being replaced by Gopher voiced by Michael Gough.
- The character designs will look more identical to The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
- The last eight Kim Possible episodes in season 3 (Showdown at the Crooked D to And the Mole Rat Will Be CGI) would've first premiered from March 11th to April 29th, 2005 before So the Drama (titled The Kim Possible Movie) came out, which was released on July 1st, 2005.
- Originally, the film was set to release on September 9th, 2005 until it was moved up to July 1st.
- However, due to its high popularity, the show was still renewed for a fourth season.
- Harriet the Spy would be produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios as an animated film instead, being a critical and commercial success as part of the Disney Renaissance era.
- While the live-action Harriet show and Blog Wars don't exist, the animated series is produced by Disney Television Animation for Disney Channel instead as the 1996 film uses the same art style.
- This results in Once Upon a Studio and House of Mouse featuring characters from the film.
- Nickelodeon would have no involvement in Snow Day, Clockstoppers, Mad Hot Ballroom, Nacho Libre, Charlotte's Web, The Spiderwick Chronicles, Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging, Imagine That, Fun Size, Monster Trucks, Wonder Park, Playing with Fire, The J Team, Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank and Fantasy Football due to being distributed by Paramount.

- Jeff Bennett reprised his role as Pip in Disenchanted.
- Tangled, Frozen and its sequel Frozen II, Moana (with Pua having a larger role), Raya and the Last Dragon, Encanto (with Pico having a larger role and talking), Strange World and Wish would be traditionally-animated instead of CGI.
- Raya and the Last Dragon and Strange World's plotlines are heavily altered.
- Wish's plotline would slightly be different due to sticking with the original concept while keeping the Star ball as a sidekick for the Star boy, who is renamed Astro and serves as Asha's love interest since the ball is too cute to be changed.
- Valentino was voiced by Jim Carrey instead of Alan Tudyk, but Tudyk will still voice a character, being Astro.
- The songs are better written and composed by Alan Menken and Lin-Manuel Miranda.
- Once Upon a Studio was released to precede the film in theaters.
- The credits would have featured The Rescuers, The Black Cauldron, The Rescuers Down Under and Meet the Robinsons.
- Pua and Hei-Hei would also talk, voiced by Jess Harnell and Tom Kenny respectively.
- A Wrinkle in Time, The Nutcracker and the Four Realms, Noelle and The One and Only Ivan (which was more faithful to its source material ITTL) would be animated as well and were rewritten in order to have a better storyline and avoid their mixed/negative reception.
- The Mouse King would be an antagonist of The Nutcracker and the Four Realms instead of the Sugar Plum Fairy.
- Disney Animation's oversee studios in France, Canada, Australia, U.K., and Japan will remain open.
- Enchanted and its sequel Disenchanted are fully animated in this AU, with the first film being produced by the studio while the second by Disneytoon Studios.
- With the only three exceptions of the 1996-2000 101 Dalmatians remake duology and a PG-13 The Black Cauldron remake, Disney would never make live-action remakes, mainly focusing on original ideas and their animation branch. These remakes will be replaced by:

- Despite all four films staying exactly the same, Brave and Coco would be produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios while Wreck-it Ralph and Zootopia are produced by Pixar Animation Studios.
- As a result, Raymond S. Persi would voice Gordon in Brave and Alan Tudyk would voice Juan Ortodoncia in Coco while Gene in the Wreck-it Ralph duology and Officer Higgins in Zootopia would be voiced by John Ratzenberger.
- All Disney Animation and Pixar Easter eggs in all four each films would switch places due to this.
- Brave and Coco would be traditionally-animated instead of CGI.
- Coco would keep its deleted songs to make it more of a musical.
- Wreck-it Ralph 2 gets tweaked to tell a new plot, being known as Ralph Wrecks the Arcade.
- Dora and the Lost City of Gold would be fully traditionally-animated instead, meaning that the hallucination scene would not be in it.
- The animation style will be the same as the said scene, which is replaced with a scene where the characters solve a riddle from the Grumpy Old Troll as a callback to the original series.
- The toilet humor would be heavily toned down, although the film would still be rated PG.
- Some of the characters from the original TV series (like Azul the Train and Señor Tucán) would appear in the film.
- Marc Weiner would reprise his role as Swiper instead of Benicio del Toro while he still plays as Map.
- Boots, Backpack and Map would talk more often.
- Diego would have the same hairstyle he had in the original show and its spin-off Go, Diego, Go!, and Jake T. Austin would've reprised his role as the teenage Diego instead of Jeff Wahlberg.
- [about the tween-aimed show]
- The company would still keep making direct-to-video films, although such practice would be discontinued after Disney+'s launch as all sequels would be available on it.
- In addition to that, Disneytoon Studios wouldn't close down. Also, Moana II would be produced by the studio as a Disney+-exclusive film instead while Walt Disney Animation Studios instead announced The Nightingale in 2024.
- DreamWorks' Nickelodeon shows don't exist due to their rivalry with Disney.
- All Disney animated TV characters will appear in many Disney parks.
- As a result, the partnership between Universal Studios and Nickelodeon wouldn't happen at all. Three examples: Jimmy Neutron's Nicktoon Blast wouldn't exist, the Nick Hotel would still be referred to as Holiday Inn Family Suites, before changing its name to Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites – Waterpark and SpongeBob StorePants would still be known as the Universal Studios Cartoon Store.
- Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney's California Adventure, Disneyland Paris, Shanghai Disneyland, Hong Kong Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea would build a new area known as SpongeBob's TV Zone.
- Walt Disney Pictures would still use its full name for post-2011 releases rather than simplify to just Disney.
- Winnie the Pooh, the original Oswald the Lucky Rabbit shorts and the character himself, Steamboat Willie, The Gallopin' Gaucho and Plane Crazy wouldn't enter public domain, meaning that horror films and games based on them including Blood and Honey would never exist at all.
- Jagged Edge Productions and all their films (including Poohniverse and the Twisted Childhood Universe) along with The Mean One, Cinderella's Curse and Arthur, malédiction would never happen either.
- Disney would have gone against NFTs due to being harmful to the environment.
- All Disney Channels in certain countries wouldn't close down.
- Despite the launch of Disney+, Disney would still be selling physical releases of their films and shows, meaning that Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment would still continue physical distribution entirely.
SpongeBob SquarePants[]
The show was officially picked up by Disney Channel as its first original animated cartoon produced by Walt Disney Television Animation, and while Seasons 4, 5, and 6 still exist ITTL, they are much closer in quality to the pre-movie seasons, in part due to Stephen Hillenburg appointing Aaron Springer and C.H. Greenblatt as the new showrunners instead of Paul Tibbitt (who instead remains as a writer and a co-executive producer) while still set before the events of the movie canon. As a result, there are many changes:
- United Plankton Pictures wouldn't likely exist due to the series being the only project the studio worked on, being fully produced by Disney.
- The sound mixing error in all airings and digital versions of Something Smells would never happen, which means they would fully keep SpongeBob walking up to a building and saying, "Hi, building!" which causes the building to flee from SpongeBob's breath, and going up to Patrick and saying, "I just don't get it!" and Patrick saying, "I don't either."
- [Jeff "Swampy" Marsh, Chris Reccardi and Lynne Naylor joining the show]
- These post-movie seasons have a similar style of humor to the pre-movie ones.
- A few events of the first movie were foreshadowed like Plankton going through plans A to Y, and SpongeBob and Patrick visiting Goofy Goobers. It's revealed that SpongeBob and Patrick go to Goofy Goober’s a lot.
- Most of the bad episodes from the later seasons are either heavily rewritten (ex. Atlantis SquarePantis, Boating Buddies, Good Neighbors, and the Season 5 shorts) or simply don't exist (ex. All That Glitters, Funny Pants, Squid Wood, The Thing, To Love a Patty, The Splinter, Gone, Shell Shocked and Squid's Visit).
- Some of the later specials such as What Ever Happened to SpongeBob?/WhoBob WhatPants and SpongeBob SquarePants vs. The Big One are not specials, but rather regular length episodes that are paired together, without Patchy the Pirate segments.
- Season 6 is the show's final season, with an improved version of Truth or Square being the series finale. However:
- SpongeBob's Big Birthday Blowout and the stop-motion specials It's a SpongeBob Christmas! and The Legend of Boo-Kini Bottom still exist as one-off specials/TV films for SpongeBob post-series finale, with the latter two co-airing on ABC and ABC Family for 25 Days of Christmas and 31 Nights of Halloween.
- Sponge Out of Water, Sponge on the Run and Search for SquarePants would still exist as theatrical sequels to the first film, although the former two being traditionally animated instead while still featuring live-action segments.
- Video games based on the series would still be developed.
- SpongeBob SquarePants: The Broadway Musical would still exist as well.
- The spin-offs wouldn't exist at all.
- The post-sequel episodes still exist, being incorporated into Cheshire Cat and Friends as segments instead, with ones that are eleven minutes being shorten to seven minutes while the twenty two minute episodes as specials for the show instead at the same time.
- Some of the episodes that involve Squidward getting the short end of the stick when he didn't do anything wrong like Jolly Lodgers, Ink Lemonade and Plane to Sea don't exist and are replaced with better episodes. The same thing also applys to episodes that feature characters from the spin-offs.
- After The Fish Bowl, the "Patrick's a Prick" trope gets stopped being used.
- The overly-exaggerated facial expressions were also heavily toned down because of this.
- The series will remain on the reruns with The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, House of Mouse, Kim Possible, Lilo & Stitch: The Series and The Muppet Show.
- The characters would also appear in the Kingdom Hearts franchise and Disney Dreamlight Valley.
- The characters' personalities never undergo the flanderization they did IOTL:
- SpongeBob himself is still a bit childish, but he's never portrayed as downright infantile (as he is in episodes like "Toy Store of Doom"). His obsession with Squidward and habit of crying are also heavily toned down, and his voice remains in its pre-movie pitch.
- Patrick is still SpongeBob's dimwitted slacker best friend instead of a braindead sociopath.
- Squidward's short temper doesn't become his main personality trait. As such, he only snaps when he's really provoked like in the pre-movie episodes, and is otherwise portrayed as just grouchy.
- Likewise, Mr. Krabs' greed and Sandy's obsession with science and Larry's cowardice never become their entire personality, instead existing in tandem with their other personality traits, such as Mr. Krabs' sailor-like demeanor and Sandy's sportiness.
- Karen, Pearl and Larry will keep their pre-movie personalities too.
- The townspeople never form angry mobs nor overreact.
- The twist ending in Nautical Novice doesn't exist, meaning that SpongeBob receives his boating license permanently while Cheshire Cat and Friends still having the segments featuring SpongeBob take places before that episode.
DIC Entertainment[]
- DIC Entertainment was officially acquired by The Walt Disney Company in February 9th, 1996 to help out building up the television animation brand, the same year they acquired Capital Cities/ABC.
- While the studio would still close down in 2008, it'd instead be folded into BVS Entertainment as an in-name only unit.
- DIC's dub of Sailor Moon was heavily altered as everyone at DIC decided to watch the original anime series and read the subtitles to get to know how they would have the American English dub working.
- The DIC dub will have much better reviews as a result.
- Sailor Moon Crystal would be dubbed in America by Sensation Animation while still keeping the original US Viz Media cast.
- Disney's film adaptation of Sailor Moon wouldn't be cancelled but went in a development hell. However, after their ownership of Studio Ghibli in 2006, the project was moved to the studio, being changed into a fully anime film in which would be released in 2016.
- The live-action Inspector Gadget films would be animated instead, being rewritten to make them stay faithful to their source material and avoid their negative receptions with the first film produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation and the sequel produced by Disneytoon Studios.
- The character designs are more identical to the 1983 artwork except Penny, who would debut her Gadget and the Gadgetinis look.
- The first film has a different plot, taking places after the 1980s series and it would have a longer runtime at 100 minutes.
- Fidget, Digit, General Sir and Colonel Nozzaire would've appeared in the 2003 sequel, which would serve as the series finale to Gadget and the Gadgetinis.
- Inspector Gadget's Last Case wouldn't likely exist since Gadget is less bumbling and clueless than his original 1983 series counterpart, whereas Penny and Brain get far less screen time, with Biggest Caper Ever being retooled into a TV movie as part of DIC Movie Toons instead.
- As a result, Biggest Caper Ever is produced by Disney Television Animation as a traditionally-animated film instead, and some elements from Last Case would be incorporated into the film.
- The design for Penny is more identical to the G&tG artwork while the ones for Gadget, Brain, Chief Quimby, Dr. Claw and M.A.D. Cat are more to 1983.
- Les Studios Tex would never exist, and neither would Sabrina's Secret Life, Stargate Infinity and Sonic Underground.
- However, Archie's Weird Mysteries and Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century would still exist as the said studio would not be involved while Wang Film Productions would handle the animation services for the latter.
- The Wacky World of Tex Avery was heavily altered to become Mickey Mouse's Wacky Adventures.
- In Gadget Boy & Heather, Gadget Boy is instead voiced by Bradley Pierce in English and Alexis Tomassian in French.
- Disney would sell The Wizard of Oz, Wild West C.O.W.-Boys of Moo Mesa and Captain Planet and the Planeteers to Warner Bros. Entertainment and Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventures to Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.
- The 2003 Strawberry Shortcake series would be co-produced by Disney Television Animation.
- After DIC closed down in 2008, the fourth season would be fully produced by Disney Television Animation.
- The art style and designs of the characters would be more identical to the first three seasons, retaining their same ages from them.
- In Gadget and the Gadgetinis, the English version of the opening wouldn't exist as the French version would have been used around the world.
- The designs of Gadget, Brain, Chief Quimby, Dr. Claw and M.A.D. Cat are more identical to the 1983 artwork.
- Jeanette Sir wouldn't likely exist due to being an unnecessary love interest.
- Brain and Chief Quimby would have larger roles with Frank Welker and Maurice LaMarche reprising their roles.
- Welker would have also reprised his role as Dr. Claw.
- Globehunters: An Around the World in 80 Days Adventure would've been produced by Walt Disney Television Animation for Disney Channel and Toon Disney.
- All of DIC Entertainment's shows starting with Siegfried & Roy: Masters of the Impossible are co-produced by Disney Television Animation and made for Disney Channel and Disney's One Saturday Morning.
- The 2015 Inspector Gadget series would be produced by Disney Television Animation and DIC Entertainment for Disney Channel instead, and it will be heavily altered to avoid its negative reception.
- The designs for Penny and Maryland Claw are more identical to the G&tG artwork while the ones for Gadget, Brain, Chief Quimby, Dr. Claw and M.A.D. Cat are more to the 1983 one.
- Talon Claw wouldn't exist due to being seen as an unnecessary love interest for Penny.
- M.A.D. Cat is male in the 2015 TV series.
- Maurice LaMarche, Frank Welker, Tegan Ross and Teryl Rothery would have reprised their roles as Gadget, Chief Quimby, Dr. Claw, Brain, Penny and Maryland Claw.
- It would be traditionally-animated instead of CGI.
- The Gadgetmobile would return.
- G2, Fidget and Digit became additional main characters in the series.
- Inspector Gadget would be a critical and commercial success and part of the Disney Renaissance era.
- This results in House of Mouse and Once Upon a Studio featuring characters from the film.
- The characters would also appear in the Kingdom Hearts franchise and Disney Dreamlight Valley.
- BVS Entertainment would still operate.
- Bobby's World, most of the anime licenses dubbed by Saban and CinéGroupe co-productions (while still being co-owned with CinéGroupe) would be kept under Disney's ownership via BVS Entertainment.
- The English rights for Digimon wouldn't be acquired by Saban Brands in 2012 and would be kept under Disney's ownership, with Sensation Animation staying open and trying to make the anime better.
Marvel Entertainment[]
- Marvel Entertainment was acquired by Disney on July 23rd, 2001 and would serve as a subsidiary of BVS Entertainment.
- The rights for Power Rangers will remain under Disney's ownership as the franchise gets incorporated into the Marvel brand.
- Filming and casting would also be moved from New Zealand to Los Angeles and Vancouver, mainly due to the higher budget.
- To reduce its dependence from the parent series Super Sentai, United States-exclusive plots would be created with Japanese footage in most part being replaced by original footage through the use of practical effects and CGI.
- Due to this, several of the series would be original concepts instead of adaptions.
- The Super seasons wouldn't exist due to being considered redundant/just a way to be less creative.
- Instead of imposing him to keep it safe for younger audiences, Disney would've let Kevin Feige have more creative freedom and allowed them to explore more unique and dark storylines.
- Spider-Man 1&2, Hulk and Blade II are the last four films distributed by non-Disney studios while Daredevil, Blade 3 and the series, Elektra, Spider-Man 3 and the three duologies of the 2005 Fantastic Four, Ghost Rider, The Punisher and Men in Black: International wouldn't exist.
- With the only four exceptions of 2003's Hulk and Sam Raimi's Spider-Man duology and the latter's animated series in which remain owned under Universal and Sony's ownership, Disney would've acquired all film and television rights for Marvel's franchises, with 20th Century Fox and New Line Cinema selling the X-Men and Blade movies and all X-Men films starting with X4 being integrated into the MCU.
- X-Men: The Last Stand would split into three films: X3, X4 and X5.
- All films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe would be released by Disney under the Touchstone Pictures label except the Power Rangers movies and Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man film series, which would be released under the Walt Disney Pictures label while still integrated into the MCU, with Andrew Garfield being Peter Parker/Spider-Man in this universe.
- This would also allow Peter to not be dependent of Iron Man, although he still considers him a major influence to him and he would provide some TBD.
- This also directly affects Civil War since Peter would stand with Captain America instead due to believing his secret identity should be kept as a secret due to Gwen dying when he let her know and signing the Registration Act would contradict Uncle Ben's advice: with great power comes great responsibility.
- A Power Rangers sequel would be produced in March 2019, leading Captain Marvel to first release on January 18th instead.
- Marvel Super Hero Island would not exist, being replaced by an 007-themed land at Universal Orlando Resort.
- The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Fantastic Four, Captain Marvel and Dark Phoenix would be rewritten in order to have a better storyline and avoid their mixed/negative reception.
- Johnny Storm/Human Torch would be recasted, especially since Michael B. Jordan went to play Erik Killmonger on Black Panther.
- The Thor films would be heavily altered.
- Scarlet Witch is first introduced in X-Men: Days of Future Past in order to connect TBD.
- Nebula's design would be altered to look more similar to the original comics while still keep Karen for the role.
- Gamora would have died in the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie.
- Ragnorok's plot will now exclusively deal with Ragnorok since Planet Hulk is turned into a Hulk film.
- Black Widow wouldn't exist since that movie was exclusively created as filler, and neither would Eternals.
- Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Agent Carter don't exist and the Netflix (now ABC and Disney+) MCU shows would be more connected to the MCU.
- Although the Avengers quadrilogy would often be regarded as the highest point of the series, the MCU's flagship subseries would be The Amazing Spider-Man due to the Spider-Man's status as the company's most emblematic character.
- Black Tom Cassidy is promoted to the main antagonist of Deadpool 2.
- Kit Harrington's Black Knight would instead appear in Excalibur.
- Olivia Munn would still play Psylocke but she'll appear in Excalibur instead of X-Men: Apocalypse.

- The Amazing Spider-Man: political thriller.
- Venom: dark comedy.
- Morbius: supernatural horror.

- TBD will portray Meggan in Excalibur.
- [British comedian] will portray Warlock in Excalibur.

- John Krasiniski plays Kraven the Hunter in The Amazing Spider-Man 3, Black Panther and The Amazing Spider-Man 5.
- Emily Blunt portrays Amora the Enchantress in Thor: Ragnorok.
- Seth Rogen portrays MODOK in Thor: The Dark World.

- TBD portrays Arcade in Excalibur.

- David Cross' cameo as Tobias Fünke in Infinity War is replaced by one of Ed Helms as Zohan Dvir, considering his career is confirmed to set the film in the MCU for jokes.
- The Spider-Verse film series would have been made by Walt Disney Animation Studios instead of Sony Pictures Animation.
- Spider-Man, Miles, Gwen (both in their suits), Spider-Ham, Peni, and Spider-Man Noir would make appearances in Once Upon a Studio. The characters would also appear in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
- Fantastic Four: World's Greatest Heroes, The Spectacular Spider-Man, Wolverine and the X-Men and The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes would get two additional seasons while Iron Man: Armored Adventures was renewed for a third season.
- Due to Chadwick Boseman's passing on August 28th, 2020, T'Challa would be recasted with John David Washington as Disney justified as much that Chadwick was an icon, it would be weird to yeet T'Challa off at a moment his story was just being started.
- Disney opted to wait several months to announce the recast in respect for Chadwick's passing and for such move don't coming out as distasteful if it was announced right after.
- They would've allowed Lloyd Jones to put Spider-Man on his son Ollie's grave since Ollie was a big Spider-Man fan.
- As a tribute to Stan Lee in 2018, a Cheshire Cat and Friends television movie parodying Marvel IPs would be produced.
The Jim Henson Company[]
- On March 13th, 2008, Disney announced to acquire the Jim Henson Company to reunite The Muppets and Bear in the Big Blue House with the Jim Henson family, rebranding the company Jim Henson Enterprises, and that Sesame Workshop would allow them to own their assets by forming Sesame Workshop Partners, giving them the majority of the rights similar to National Geographic with 20th Century Fox.
- The deal was officially completed on April 10th.

Trivia[]
- Walt Disney Animation Studios made a licensing agreement with sister companies Disney Television Animation and Studio Ghibli to lend their original IP characters in Once Upon a Studio while also giving Pixar credit to animate their original characters in the short. However, the only exceptions are Marsupilami due to copyright infringement with Marsu Productions and shows produced for Playhouse Disney to avoid preschoolers. These include:
- Disney Television Animation:
- The Wuzzles: Bumblelion, Eleroo, Butterbear, Moosel, Hoppopotamus, and Rhinokey
- Adventures of the Gummi Bears: Zummi Gummi, Gruffi Gummi, Grammi Gummi, Tummi Gummi, Sunni Gummi, Cubbi Gummi, Cavin, and Princess Calla
- DuckTales: Webby, Duckworth, Launchpad McQuack, Bentina Beakley, Gyro Gearloose, Flintheart, Fenton, and Magica De Spell
- Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers: Gadget, Monterey Jack, Zipper, Fat Cat, Wart, Mole, Mepps, and Snout
- Darkwing Duck: Darkwing Duck, Gosalyn Mallard, Negaduck, Megavolt, Quackerjack, The Liquidator, and Bushroot
- Rugrats: Tommy Pickles, Dil Pickles, Chuckie Finster, Angelica, Phil and Lil, Susie, Kimi, Spike, Stu and Didi Pickles, Grandpa Lou, Drew and Charlotte Pickles, Betty and Howie DeVille, Chas and Kira Finster, Lucy and Randy Carmichael, Coco LaBouche, Jean-Claude, and Fifi

- Aaahh!!! Real Monsters: Ickis, Oblina, and Krumm
- A Goofy Movie: Max, P.J., Bobby, and Roxanne
- Note: This film was based on Goof Troop, one of Disney Television Animation's shows, as Max and P.J. are in their 1995 teenage designs in this short.

This was due to the closure of DNA Productions in 2006 after the failure of The Ant Bully and the original models not being animated for over a decade, as well as updates made to animation technology since the original film's release, with rigging and rendering being reworked so they could be used with modern technology.
